How do I add media to my profile?

From the home page of one of your profile, click the Edit Images or Edit Audio / Video button (you must be logged in first). Clicking either one of those buttons will take you to the Media Files page.

This page shows all media you have for your entire account. Since you can have multiple profiles, you will need to indicate which of the media files you wish to attach to the current profile you are looking at. Media which is attached to this profile will be marked blue.

Also, when you are on the Media Files page, you can use the large Left Arrow or Right Arrow to navigate to see more of your files. Select files by clicking on them which will mark them in green. If you click the Attach or Detach button with some media selected, you will change which media is attached to this profile.

How do I get more profile matches?

Your profile matches are based on the selections you made for your profile. Adding more genres is a good way to get more matches. And if your profile allows you to select a Travel Distance, then increasing your travel distance will help a lot too.

What is the difference between searching for profiles and matched profiles?

The following types of profiles are eligible for the MusicianAudition Matching Feature

  • Bands Looking for Members (Musicians or DJs)
  • Musicians Looking for Bands
  • DJ's Looking for Bands

Matching is a feature that continuously tries to find matches between profiles (listed above). These kinds of profiles cannot be found in the general Search Profiles section of the website. These types of profiles are only seen by members who have created profiles and a match is found.

The remaining types of profiles...

  • Bands Looking for Work
  • Musicians Looking for Work
  • DJ's Looking for Work

...are all seeking work and can be found by anyone (registered members or not) by searching for profiles in the Search Profiles.

Why do some of my profiles have a matching feature and others don't?

Only certain profiles take advantage of the MusicianAudition matching feature. Those types of profiles are:

  • Bands Looking for Members (Musicians or DJs)
  • Musicians Looking for Bands
  • DJ's Looking for Bands

When these types of profiles are created, the website will automatically seek new matches for your profile every couple of minutes. You will be notified when new matches are found by email.
